I was born in Chicago, Illinois

I grew up an only child

I went to a private school

I graduated in 1988

My first poem was published in 1995

I found my soul mate in 2002

I moved to Indiana in 2004

We bought our first home in 2005

I married my love in 2007

I have done my best to continue to learn and grow as a person each and every day

My grandma was my life guide

I knew I was meant to be here at a very young age

I started writing when I was 16 years old

I knew God had a plan for my life

I started my website in 2017

I published my first book Poems of my Soul in 2018

I published my second book The Value of the View in 2019
